We had a great time at Worship Night last weekend. Thanks to everyone who came out and made the nights so special. Take a look back at some of the sights and sounds.
On Sunday July 22nd, 30 people from Venice Church made the decision to be baptized at Venice Beach. We’re excited for them and are celebrating with them! Check out this video that highlights that incredible day.

Our backpack project at Torrey Pines Church was an awesome success as so many of us gathered together to stuff over 1100 backpacks with school supplies for children in Tijuana, Mexico. Thanks to everyone who gave of their time and resources to make this wave of compassion. We are so thankful to partner with such a generous church family that wants to see lives changed here in our community and around the world!
The transition from EastLake Kids (birth through 5th grade) to EastLake Students (6th grade through high school) is a big one! We wanted to help make that transition smooth and comfortable and help get your child excited for this next step! Super 6th Something was a special camp designed just for our incoming 6th graders. It was jam-packed with games, fun, goofiness, (and a few outrageous surprises) and was a great “on ramp” to life in EastLake Students.
Almost 400 students and over 70 leaders headed up to Pinecrest Camp in Big Bear for the 2018 version of Camp United. It’s a jam-packed schedule of games, teaching, music, friends, and faith. Check out some sights and sounds of one of our favorite weeks of the year!
Congrats to everyone who was baptized! It was so fun to celebrate with you as you took this step in your faith.
We had a blast hosting our first-ever EastLake-Con! It was so fun to gather together as a church network and grow in our leadership and ministry skills. We had such a great turnout and great feedback that we are already making plans for next year! Thanks to everyone who attended EastLake-Con and helped make our workshop sessions so productive. We had a blast dreaming, planning, and praying with all of you!
What a tremendous Easter weekend all across our EastLake Network Churches! We saw over 10,000 people attend one of our 30 services and hundreds of people make first time decisions or recommitments to Christ. Thanks to all who have given to Cannonball that has made our network so far reaching and so open to our communities.
Last Friday night we launched Night of Hope at EastLake Chula Vista, which is one night with four different opportunities to experience hope and healing. We had over 700 people on campus participating in either the Re-Engage marriage seminar, Celebrate Recovery, Divorce Care or Grief Share. These support groups are designed to provide community, resources, and tools as people navigate through some of life’s toughest challenges.
EastLake Church Playas celebrated their third anniversary by opening up a brand new space for kids. Thanks to all of you who participate in Cannonball, we are able to make more room for kids to play.
