Depending on your age, thinking of the “good ole’ days” may really mean something good! Maybe for you it means a slower pace, a simpler time, or possibly even a time before videos of cats filled up your email inbox. For others, thinking of the past – a time where you had to talk on a phone that was actually attached to the kitchen wall – fills you with terror. Either way, it’s easy to feel distant from the past and disconnected from the traditions of history in today’s modern and newfangledy* world.
