Our weekday preschool and kindergarten program is a wonderful place for children to learn, grow, and have fun, but we also appreciate that parents have questions about the details for their little ones. This list of questions is designed to help answer at least a few of the most common questions we receive.
Do you offer tours?
Yes, tours are offered by appointment @ 10:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Afternoon tours are available by appointment only. Please call (619) 421-4156 to schedule your tour.
How old does my child have to be to attend your school?
Your child must be at least 2 years old before they can attend.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
No, we will accept children in diapers or pull ups. An additional fee is added to your monthly tuition until they are fully potty trained and coming to school in underwear. Children in our Kinder Prep and older program, however, must be fully potty trained in order to attend our school.

What are your office hours?
Our office hours are 8:00-4:30 Monday through Friday.
What are your childcare hours?
Our center’s operating hours are 7:00-5:30 Monday through Friday.

What is the curriculum like?
Our curriculum is balanced to meet the developmental needs of the whole child. Social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual aspects of development are addressed through daily activities and curriculum. Our teaching staff meets on a regular basis to plan each age group’s theme based curriculum for the upcoming month.
What is a typical day like?
Each child whether they are here at school all day or just for class time will participate in the following activities: Group time, story time, snack, outside play time, inside play time, music and movement, teacher directed activities, and arts and crafts projects. Children with an all day schedule will also participate in lunch time, rest time, afternoon snack and group activities.
What are your teacher & teacher aid qualifications?
Our Teachers, as well as many of our classroom assistants, have completed college course work in the field of Early Childhood Education. Continuation in education and participation in training opportunities is strongly encouraged. All center staff meet state licensing requirements.
How many children are in each class?
Our 2 year old classes average 10 students, 3 year old classes average 12-15 students and our Kinder Prep classes average between 20-24 students. Each class grouping is assigned a minimum of two staff members.
Are your staff members bilingual?
We have several staff members who are fluent in both English & Spanish, however, our instruction is in English.
