Human trafficking is the world’s fastest growing form of organized crime, and a substantial number of its victims are women and children who are exploited for commercial and sexual purposes. The BSCC is an alliance of over sixty government and nonprofit agencies in the United States and Latin America that are focused on combating slavery and human trafficking in the San Diego/Baja California border region. EastLake Church has partnered with the BSCC to provide the funding that has established and maintained a safe house for victims of human trafficking, where they are provided a safe and secure environment as well as counseling, training, and encouragement.
